IGDL takes a public Instagram post, reel, or IGTV URL that you provide and returns the direct media file so you can save it to your device. The Service does not modify, re-encode, or watermark that file — it is served in the same quality Instagram delivered it in.

You agree that you will only use IGDL to download content that:

• is publicly available on Instagram, and
• you have the right to save, either because you own it, the creator has permitted its reuse, or your use qualifies as fair use / fair dealing under your local law.

You agree that you will not use IGDL to:

• download private or restricted Instagram content;
• redistribute, resell, or republish someone else's content without the creator's permission or a valid license;
• break Instagram's Terms of Use or any applicable law;
• attack, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service.

Instagram and its users own the videos and photos you download. IGDL claims no rights over them and grants you no license to that content — your right to use a downloaded file comes from the original creator or from applicable law, not from us.

The Service itself (the interface, code, branding, and text on this website) is owned by IGDL and protected by copyright and trademark law.

IGDL is an independent tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., or any of their subsidiaries. "Instagram" is a trademark of its respective owner.

The Service is provided as-is and may change, break, or become unavailable at any time — for example if Instagram changes how its pages are served. We may add, remove, or modify features without notice and we do not promise any specific uptime.

IGDL is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, secure, or that any specific link will succeed.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IGDL and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of your use of the Service or your use of any content downloaded through it. You are solely responsible for how you use content you download.

You agree to indemnify and hold IGDL harmless from any claim, demand, or damages, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms, including any infringement of another person's rights.

The Service is funded by ads served through Google AdSense. Your interactions with those ads are governed by Google's terms and privacy policy in addition to ours.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use IGDL after a change means you accept the new Terms.
