Privacy Policy

• We do not require you to sign up or create an account.
• We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or Instagram login.
• We do not keep a copy of the videos, photos, or captions you download.

When you paste an Instagram link and click "Fetch media", our server briefly contacts Instagram to read the public post page and extract the direct media URLs. The link you pasted and the extracted URLs are held only in memory for the duration of that request and are not written to a database.

When you click "Save", the selected media file is streamed from Instagram's CDN through our proxy to your browser so the download can start. We do not retain a copy of the file after the transfer.

Our hosting provider may automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of the request for security, abuse prevention, and performance monitoring. These logs are rotated and are not linked to any personal profile.

IGDL itself uses a single browser localStorage entry to remember your light/dark theme preference. We do not set tracking cookies of our own.

We display ads through Google AdSense to keep the service free. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can review and control Google's use of this data at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

All media downloaded through IGDL originates from Instagram, a service operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. Your use of that content is also subject to Instagram's own terms and privacy policy. IGDL is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta.

IGDL is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Continued use of IGDL after an update means you accept the revised policy.
